Overall, we have contributed over $3 million dollars in goods and services to our local community since 1998.

FAMILY PROMISE OF THE LOWER CAPE FEAR
Family Promise LCF's mission is to provide case management and transitional housing for victims of domestic violence and emergency shelter to families experiencing homelessness while supplying them with the resources and skills vital to regain and maintain financial independence in the New Hanover County, Brunswick County, and Pender County area. 

Throughout the year, JGC sponsors fundraising events and volunteer hours to assist with hospitality for the incoming families. To learn more about Family Promise or get more involved, visit their site here 

ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA

Alzheimer's Association of Eastern North Carolina is a small but mighty team that serves the 51 counties of Eastern North Carolina with education, care consultations, fundraising events and more! They provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer's and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families. They are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer's disease and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.

At Jeff Gordon Chevrolet, we are providing our support via the Walk to End Alzheimer's Wilmington held every fall in beautiful Wrightsville Beach. Accompany our previous efforts by included a Walk Team and A Night to Remember, a dessert and wine pairing event.


 

PLASTIC OCEAN PROJECT

The mission of Plastic Ocean Project, Inc. 501(c)3 is to educate through field research, implement progressive outreach initiatives, and incubate solutions to address the global plastic pollution problem, working with and for the next generation to create a more sustainable future.

As corporate members of POP, we participate in outreach events with support and volunteer hours and collaborate with activities in the community. Children of fallen heroes

Children of Fallen Heroes is 

An NC-Based 501-C3 Non-profit that helps surviving children and families of fallen first responders and military cope with the trauma of losing their "hero" through various proven methodologies by ways of partnering with Animal and Wildlife Rescue, Golf Day Camps, Photography, STEM Indoor Skydiving, Tandem Skydiving, Wedding and Special Occasion, and Air Sports Professionals at locations all over the United States.  In 2022, Children of Fallen Heroes will be adding a coastal water sports and activities aspect to the treatment curriculum.

 

OASIS NC

Jeff Gordon Chevrolet is proud to support OASIS NC, a local Wilmington day school for children with autism. Every April, the dealership pledges $25 for every vehicle sold to benefit the students' scholarship fund. 
 

THE CARE PROJECT

The CARE Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope to families who have children and/or adults with hearing challenges through counseling experiences aimed at the processing of the emotional stages of grief.

Here at Jeff Gordon Chevrolet, we support this organization's journey through their programs and events. This also includes support of The CARE Project's path to build 30 Cottages, a vision to build a permanent site in New Hanover County for Family Retreats and Professional Education Seminars. You can also support this cause by purchasing a brick to help continue paving a path for The CARE Project's success! 


 

NOURISH NC

Nourish NC a 501-c(3) non-profit organization that provides hungry children with healthy food, empowering them to succeed in the classroom and in their community.

As Nourish NC Partners, our Jeff Gordon Chevy team participates in monthly pack nights, offers support for events, and by "adopting" a nearby school.
